RWZ

Is it possible to get a copy to put up in my home?

Alicia

It's sad to see, yet warming to see that they are sharing and taking care of each other.

pieterbie

Another great shot with a message.

It's amazing how self sufficient children can be when need to.. It's sad to see when they do have to tend to themselves at such a young age.. Syd.. these are a great series of real and raw photos.. Thanks for sharing!

This image can speak for all the children of the world. Great shot, sidney.

jayred

What are they doing here?

perhaps

Enjoying shot. The children's concentration is very interesting. Nice.

Lady-bug

This is sad and beautiful at the same time . . . wonderful capture, Sidney.
Have a great weekend! xxoo

By the time I get to you daily post, others have said it all before me! Another in a wonderfully powerful series of pictures.

I have been to Manila before and I always felt pity for them.. blame on government! People who haven't open their hearts to reach and help them, open their eyes through your heartbreaking series of children. These images show powerful message to all the individuals that the Government needs to be changed and make things better for the people of Phillipines.

If only adults could learn to share...

Marco

A great lesson from this children.
This wonderful shot should be append on the wall of our politicians.

The best of the series so far for me, but thought provoking none the less. Excellent work. - [Chuks]

I wonder if this simple yet telling image will take on its own metaphor in the years to come, as people may connect those chains with these children: 'the food chain', springs to mind.

max

be careful of giving alms to these kids. there is a public secret going around that they're part of a (crime) syndicate.

diong

What can I say... Wow! So much meaning you can get on those hand gestures...

Paul

Lovely natural image.

I hope the little blighters weren't too hungrey and just excited by the treat. At least they were sharing and not fighting over them.

outdoorexposure

Gorgeous image. I love how the three children are sharing what they have. If only all of us in this world of ours could all share what we have we each other there would be very little poverty left. Keep the strong images coming my friend!
